Work on a local office is well underway, Thanks to our faithful volunteers and Generosity of local businesses.We have two offices on the second floor of the King Building, 152 Albertbridge Road Belfast.  To be used for the day to day running along with presentations to corporate sponsors, media production and an information centre about our various locations. At the heart of the project, our dedicated volunteers who enable us to function, can meet around our boardroom table and plan events etc.  As much as we have a heart for "helping others to help themselves" we want to impact all those who get involved with the charity helping them gain skills that they can use in their current or future jobs.

Watch out for our offical opening in May 2010, this will be an opportunity for us to thank and acknowledge all those companys who have contributed.

We will be inviting the press to see the generosity of local businesses in these difficult times!

Since the conception of this charity we have always been mindful of the following:


*      facilitate and encourage volunteers of all ages to use their skills and develop new ones  

*      make our needs known and present companies or individuals an opportunity to make a difference 

*      where possible promote companies or individuals who have made a difference to the project by advertising on our website , newspaper coverage, reference letters to employees etc.  

*      maximise the use of all our resources and creativity 


Example: the website has been started by one individual who now has formed a team of three (including two young men) to help develop it further, this has all been on a voluntary basis. These skills will assist one of them, a student with his degree in marketing. They have plans to show video etc. to communicate the various needs and progress.
